Apache Junction is the easternmost city in the “Valley of the Sun” and is surrounded on the north and east sides by the breathtaking Superstition Mountains. If you hear a local refer to “AJ”, this is the city they are talking about! Apache Junction has a mixture of properties from luxury homes with land, to quaint single-family homes, to 55+ and all ages mobile home communities. You’ll find there is a lot to do here with hiking and biking trails only minutes away. Don’t forget to check out the Superstition Mountain Lost Dutchman Museum where several classic movies were filmed. Goldfield Ghost Town is minutes away where you can step back in time to experience a bit of the old west with reenactments, shops, and a saloon. If you have wanderlust and prefer to explore the outdoors, take a hike to Needle Point, search for that Lost Dutchman treasure on a hike, or grab your boat or kayak and head to Canyon Lake for a day on the water! There’s always something to do in or around AJ!
